Our vision is is to see people from different nations and generations worship God in spirit and in truth through song. We long to see His kingdom come and His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Everflow comes from the two words ''everlasting'' and ''overflow''. Our desire is that as His everlasting love fills us, we would overflow with it in our lives and in our music. As we are continually filled with more of Him, He will overflow out of our lives - in our words, songs and actions. The Bible says ''out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks'' so as our hearts are filled with His love for us and we in turn respond with passionate love for Him, the worship of our hearts overflows out of our words and songs.
Our source of inspiration is God. He is the Creator of all things and He is the Giver of all good gifts. We are first inspired by the Him and the words He speaks over us. Our songs are sometimes inspired by verses that really speak to our hearts, sometimes out of a desire to know Him more and most of all, by the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Everflow is a small band from Hong Kong with big dreams for God. It all started when a couple of young people started worshipping God together through song and out of times of intimate and passionate worship, songs were birthed and the group came together to form a band. We are just a group of young people who love the Lord passionately and want to see people worship Him in spirit and in truth. We long to see His kingdom come and His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
We made the first album out of a desire to bless others with songs that were written out of worship. Many of the songs on the album were not written for the purpose of being performed for an album but many are just our hearts cry to the Lord and songs that were written during our personal or corporate times of worship. It is our desire to see people drawn to worship the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and that nations and generations will be blessed by the songs that have been written.
