This project is really the fruit of a Conversation With God. A "real" conversation. No masks. Just me. The real unfiltered me.
I told God "I Wanna Feel Again. I want the fullness of your presence in my life More And More. I want, no NEED a fresh revelation of you. He said, "ok."
If you''ve ever seen a child on his tippy toes trying to see more than he can see with his feet flat on the ground, that was me. Reaching. Striving. Longing to see more, to be more.
What this "conversation" with God led me to was praise. It led me to worship.
God told me, "Kenny if you really want to behold my glory, if you really want to see me, then worship me."
As I started writing and producing this project with an incredible team of gifted, anointed partners, I worshipped. A conversation is a two-way exchange. So, I began to talk to God. And He listened.
I said, "Lord, Holy Is Your Name. I confessed that At All Times, He Reigns. "I''m so happy that even though Lord You Know Me, I''m Saved! I''m saved! And the highest form of daily praise I can give you is to Keep On Trusting, is to Let The Lord Lead, is to Just Believe."
As I worshipped I wrote. Mixing the worship with the writing gave me that fresh revelation I so desperately needed.
He changed my position. When the project was over I was no longer on my tippy toes. I was On My Knees.
It''s amazing what you can see on your knees. God, thank you for that revelation.
So I invite you into your own Conversation With God. I invite you to worship Him as you listen.
My prayer is that this project will take you to the highest place on earth with God, the place where you can see and hear him best - your knees.
