this album has been in the cut for awhile but was lost in the
shuffle of life. about the time i started putting this project
together, the resonators were assembled. shortly thereafter,
we began working with himp c and an album for both himp and
the resonators took top priority at family business labs.
we began working to bring our new music to the public and time
passed quickly, finding this project done but not published.
late 2008 came with some tragedy that shook our family to the
core. our brother jeremy miller was lost to a senseless act
of cowardly violence, leaving a void in our lives that will
never be filled. brother jeremy told me that, aside from
raising our kids, the music was the most important thing we
had going. he asked me to promise that we would never stop. i made
him that promise and i intend to keep it. our bodies pass
away, but our spirits live forever through the other beings we
touch in our lifetime. i pray this music will be as timeless as
the rhythm of the seasons and as nourishing as the plants that
sustain our bodies. this is perennial, and it is livecated to all
of our family, those we have lost and those we have yet to meet.
