Friends since grade school, Larry Benigno and Tony Melita form the electric duo "the Weed Bros".
Although much of the music is based in 70''s classic rock, it also has shades of early Genesis due to the vocals and instrumentation.
What started out as a side project between friends became a Soundclick mainstay with 3 of their songs hitting #1 with one song remaining #1 for months.
Larry Benigno is also the sole member of "Sonic Music". His CD "The Prisoner" won the JPF Music Awards ''Best Progressive Rock Album'' of 2009, and was awarded Keyboard Magazine''s ''Unsigned Artist Of The Month'' back in August 2006.
