Marty Feldhake is a singer and songwriter that hails from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The "Fences and Fields" cd is his second project. He released "Old Quarry Road" in May of 2006. He enjoys story songs and lists some of his influences as folks such as Steve Goodman, Utah Phillips and John Prine. He grew up outside of Madison, Wisconsin and enjoys the occassional opportunity to play in Madison...thank you Wild Hog in the Woods! As a young person, he got into bluegrass music and then moved more toward fok. His music reflects some of both as well as a blend of the two styles.
