The first three tracks tell a story. First, in The Final Hour, the tempo and instruments intensify with confusion as Jesus'' death on the cross approaches. It has a Pink Floyd edge. Next, is a spiritual, mellow, melodic bass instrumental representing the transformation of Jesus Christ. Last, the title track, Road to Emmaus, is Luke 24:13-26. It has a classic rock feel of the Eagles and Bob Dylan.
