This new modern rock group based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota is Jeffry Becker, vocals/songwriter; Micheal Helm, percussion; and David Elmeer, bass guitar.

The Beginners expands on this approach with their debut release "Vow". They employ a horn section, viola de gamba, accordion, electric golden pipe organ and various other instruments all interwoven with layers of guitar. Becker''s songwriting is personal and visceral. And while his lyrics have a continuously unfolding quality to them, his ethos to a strong pop-hook is evident. Propelled by talented drummer Helm (who also engineered and produced the record) and cascading instrumentation throughout, The Beginners "Vow" is a compelling original work and a -must listen-!
