ALF are a London based "collective". By collective we mean a group of musicians who interact on different projects. So there is a conventioanl "band", but it varies from event to event.
Worldwide there are many collectives, and then of course there are the main people pushing these collectives along. In ALF''s case these are Nicholas Chamberlain-Hunt and Christine Ann Leach. Christine and Nick''s main objectives in life are to make music, for the love of it, and also to create interesting and slightly unusual forms of music. I hesitate to say new, because is anything really new? I''d say yes, but then I''d feel rather arrogant, so perhaps we don''t make new music, but it''s different. We have a small market, but those people love us! I mean reeeaaaallllly love the music. You might be one of them. If you have eclectic taste and like to have music to chill to, then we could easily be right up your street. Any of the three albums, they are all beautilful in their different ways, having different musicians etc.
