Aline has literally been singing since she could talk. People always ask her where she is from. She is American, but her father is Belgian and her mother is African-American, specifically from the South. She also has Hungarian, Jewish, and Cherokee roots. All of these genes have a lot to say. Singing has always provided a release for her which makes for heartfelt,soulful performances. In high school, the head of the theater department recognized acting as another one of Aline''s innate gifts. This encouragement led her to pursue acting at Santa Monica College. Subsequently, she auditioned and was accepted at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood, California. Although, acting was moving, it became clear that music was her greatest passion. This invaluable training as a performer played a significant role in bringing increased life, depth, and meaning to the delivery of each one of her songs.
