Every beat on THE STICK UP except for All the Girls (ANTHO AND HIS FATHER TONYGROVE DID THIS TRACK) was done by ANTHO; this is outstanding for an 18 year old to come up with such a tight cd concept, lyrics and the beats.
But ANTHO is not your average rapper he is a true lyricist and entertainer, having started rapping at the age of 10 ANTHO has perfected his rhyming and writing skills into an art form with a combination of a in your face delivery, getting into a track and riding it, lyrical content that an average rapper needs a ghost writer for (call ANTHO he can help you with that) a true lyricist in every sense of the word, spinning metaphors like a J-Zay, or NAS, painting vivid pictures and storytelling like a Tupac or a Slick Rick.
ANTHO, has been on his grind to pursue a career in the music industry since he started rapping at age 10, his first live performance was at his elementary school where he got a standing ovation for a song he wrote called Playin Basketball, he has participated in every talent show he could find and won most of them over the past 10 years, he has done free concerts for voter registration drives, Martin Luther King day festivals and Juneteenth concerts, car shows and wherever he could find a mike or no mike and 1 fan he would flow, but his most memorable performance was opening for Ludacris at a Texas Southern Homecoming concert for which he received nothing but love from the audience, so you see ANTHO has and continues to pay his dues to make it big in the rap game and have no doubt its just a matter of time!!!
