Through the years the Lord has proved faithful in bringing me through many circumstances of life. Seasons have brought many wonderful opportunities and joys, but also as is common to everyone, disappointments and sadness. It is a privilege knowing God can and will use my life for His glory if I remain surrendered to Him and His purposes.
When I sing and make music to the Lord – my heart transcends the earthly boundaries and restrictions of the earth and my soul soars to engage with the heart of my heavenly Father. The destination of praise and worship leads me to a wonderful place where I enjoy basking in the uniqueness of His gift of faith victory, joy and love.
The Lord has put many new songs in my heart in response to seasons, situations and circumstances. Some of the songs and music have been from me to Him, others from Him to me. There have also been songs and music for others, but all the songs have served to bless, encourage and heal. My music has been inspired by scripture and the reality of God’s mighty and unshakable character. .I have been doubly encouraged and blessed by the positive impact of the songs on others. It is through this, the encouragement and support of friends and family that has inspired me to launch this CD.
My prayer is that the music on this CD will bring comfort to many and provide inspiration to rise in faith. It is my dream that along with the CD, the additional launch of Ann Rivers Ministries will help young people that need hope and encouragement as well as challenge those who are unaware of their need for a Savior. I know that our only real and certain source of hope, in whom we can ever fully put our trust is JESUS CHRIST.
