Based out of the L.A. area, The Auroras were formed in late 2002 by guitarist Jeff Barnell and singer songwriter Lisa Raye, both originally from Minneapolis, MN. Both are veterans of the Minneapolis music scene and decided to make a serious studio album together, fusing each others talents into a well crafted and eclectic sounding album. Thus The Auroras were born.
