A new worship CD has been released by Pastor Chris Dyer and Carl Duffield. Pastor Chris is the Lead Pastor of LifeSpring Community Church in Valley City, Ohio. Carl is one of the church Worship Leaders. This CD includes 8 songs of praise and worship with a “rock - blues gospel” mix. Each song was written for the express purpose of aiding God’s people during times of worship. Pastor Chris wrote the songs and states, “This was a ministry project. It is our prayer that many Christians will find these songs both meaningful and enjoyable. We hope that the music will find its way into churches everywhere and that God will be blessed by believers who are playing instruments and singing praises to His name. All of the songs hold very special meaning for me. Like the Psalms of old they were written throughout the experiences of life and for the purpose of
expressing my feelings about our God, whose loving kindness endures through all ages.”
Pastor Chris and Carl are very aware of the difficulties of having few people and minimal resources for music ministry. Attempting to be sensitive to the needs of the smaller church, every song on the CD is adaptable to all sizes of congregations and worship teams – “even if it is just one man and one guitar.” “In fact,” states Pastor Chris, “these songs have been played in every style imaginable from traditional gospel to heavy metal!” Chord and lead (melody) sheets are available for each song upon request.
