DYANE BIOGRAPHY
Dyane is a bilingual singer/songwriter/performer for different genres of music including Cumbia, Reggaeton, Latin Pop, Pop, Dance, and R&B. Born in Canada, her father was Italian and her mother was from Guatemala. While growing up Dyane always performed in school events, competitions and contests. She received a variety of awards for many performances and also appeared on several TV shows in Guatemala.
Dyane has been fortunate enough to travel to many countries including Brazil, the Philippines, Italy, Mexico, Venezuela, Cuba, and Canada. She spent all of her travels with her father while performing in many events and winning several awards along the way. During these travels she appeared on TV in Canada, and in California on the popular Spanish TV network Telemundo. After her many travels, she finally decided to settle down in the San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California and go after her true love, music.
After years of being asked by her fans when she was going to come out with an album, the time finally came. After settling in California she met many friends and contacts in the music scene which led her to Marco Montoya, a very talented musician, producer and arranger. After meeting with Marco they immediately started working on the production of Dyane''s first full length album. After some long hard work, Dyane is in the final stages of production and the album is slated for release around the end of 2006. This production includes Cumbia, Pop-Cumbia, some Latin Pop and Reggaeton. The song entitled "Te Quiero (Reggaeton)" has already been chosen for a Reggaeton compilation album called "Meggaton 2006" which will be released very shortly.
Dyane had concurrently worked on other productions and collaborations with other artists while working on her own production. This is something she will continue to do after the release of her first album. One of these collaborations is with her very good friend, singer/songwriter Mona Shirk. Together they have already collaborated on many projects that are both beautiful and inspirational. Not to mention a great studio Digitsound Studio, run by Mauricio Acevedo.
Dyane is anxious to continue performing after the release of her album and would eventually like her music to be heard all over the world. Her drive and determination will keep her moving forward making great music for years to come.
