Just before Christmas, the UPS driver arrived with 3 boxes filled with brand new CDs. The Fifty 7''s first family CD, Lightning Bugs, is finally here! The project began back in May of 2009 with the idea that we would record a number of the popular kids songs we do in concert. Then one day in the studio, Greg came in with an original song for us to try. We loved it! Actually, so much it became the first song on the CD, Summertime! Then he came up with a couple more. Then a couple of more with one thrown in from Bob for good luck. Pretty soon it was clear that this CD was turning into a really fun collection of songs we wrote throughout the summer of 2009! The songs were all inspired by the events and memories from time spent with our friends and families. Now we can share them with you in our new release of all original songs, Lightning Bugs. A great kid and adult friendly CD. We hope you enjoy our music!
