"Kshan Ek Bhalanyacha..." is an album of Marathi songs by Sailee Raje. The name means "A moment of Allure..."
It is a fine collection of beautiful poems that are full of Romance and Rain. Most of these poems were written by Sailee’s mother, Dr. Meghana Raje, in her younger days. This album is Sailee’s surprise gift to her mom. She wants to revive these poems in the form of melodious romantic songs.
The music is given by Pdt. G S Chandra, a very talented music director based in USA. He has given a ghazal touch to most of the compositions in this album. Couple of compositions have Indian classical base. The poem "Re Sajana" is written by Sailee herself and its composition uses very delightful Garba/Dandia music.
The music has been arranged by Manabjyoti Das from Kolkata and the voice has been recorded at Studio24 in Pune. Special thanks extended to 3 unknown poets whose poems are also part of this album. This is also a call-out to these 3 creators and if known, it would be a pleasure add credits to their names in the future editions of the album CDs.
The pleasing and catchy melodies, meaningful touching poems and Sailee’s soft, sweet voice will definitely leave a lasting impact on the listener’s minds!
