A different sound ... A new color that nevertheless continues to have as basis the gwo ka traditional and modern gwo ka. (music of Guadeloupe FWI). Kimbòl universe is rich, and goes through a cool music to joyful music, a written music to a music based on improvisation ... Kimbòl''s music is based on the gwo ka, with raids into other musical styles (African music, jazz ...). A Musical Journey in the tradition of Guadeloupe and beyond ....

The artistic direction is assured by Sonny Troupé, drummer. He is known for his collaborations with musicians such as Christian Laviso, Jacques Schwarz-Bart, Kenny Garrett, Mario Canonge, Armand Acheron, Solo Cissokho, Tanya St. Val ... and on various projects.

Discography
The last album Kimbòl named "Invitation" is the result of research work undertaken for 5 years. Work in studio lasted eight months in Guadeloupe and Paris proved the functioning of the device. The result is the original and new aesthetic developed by Kimbòl today.
