KTR''s 2009 studio demo is the first release from this Oregon based indie rock band. KTR''s unique style is a blend of two singer/songwriters, Joe Kyle and Russ Thomas. Joe''s style and background includes alternative and modern rock, and combines the edginess of hard rock with the instrumental stylings of artists like Dave Matthews and John Butler. Russ'' writing style incorporates the storytelling aspects of folk music with melodic chord progressions and catchy guitar riffs. With two writers at the helm, KTR has a combined catalog of nearly 40 songs, from which they can build exciting and versatile live shows.
