Pump Mother a high energy alternative rock band based out of Marin County that performed in the Northern California club circuit in the early 90''s (1992-94). The PM sound was complex, mixing powerful rock with pop melodies, funk based rhythms, and intelligent lyrics all making for a progressive art rock flavor in both wild live theatrical shows and their independent album "Everyone Knows…" released (Medulla Records) in 1993 which was produced by guitarist Monroe Grisman and mixed by acclaimed producer/engineer Marc Senesac (Blue Oyster Cult, Testament, World Entertainment War). The album garnered positive reviews and for a brief period charted on college radio stations thru out the Western United States. Unfortunately, this was to be their only recording. The band evolved with varying members over the years before disbanding in 1994. But the music lives on... Pump Mother''s original members featured on this album: Emmett Fahringer aka “E. Bolus 4” – Lead Vocals Monroe Grisman – Guitar and Backing – Vocals Paul Johnson – Drums Adam Leblanc - Bass, recently reunited for a live show performance on 10/24/09 in Marin County that was filmed possibly for future distribution. New recordings and more remain a possibility for the future. The adventure continues...
