THE STORY: Demi Barbito - The Man, The Myth, The Monster - has always been known a s a shred guitar player (Listen to Tormentia D''Muerta or Reservoir Of Filth). This new 2010 project showcases his guitar skills and more. This CD was inspired by the LIFE, LOVE and DEATH of Tormentia D''Muerta. She was a friend and an amazing photographer and model. No photographs of Tormentia will be used for this project out of respect for the D''Muerta family. The material comes from firsthand knowledge of the events of 11/19 through 11/21/2009 in Prado, Spain and Templeton, Ca. as well as confidential conversations between Tormentia and Demi over the course of two years. On 11/19/2009 Tormentia was in Spain when she received a call on her cell from a blocked number... Twelve hours later she was at the San Luis Obispo airport... Only Demi, Jessica, Ana and Autumn were there for what happened at 10:00pm on 11/21/2009. But only Ana and Demi witnessed what occurred at 11:59pm just two hours after Tormentias death, on the night of her 22nd birthday. Ana hasn''t spoken to anyone since that night... Then on 12/27/2009 Rancho D''Muerta mysteriously burned to the ground only one day after finishing the recording sessions for the CD in the converted basement.

The music for this CD was written by Demi Barbito. Demi did all the vocals and played the drums, guitars, bass, keyboards (Jesse Hesche played drums on Talking to Zombies and Art Trinidade played keys on Anatomy Of A Destructive Pattern and This Song Is Rated PG). Demi also recorded and mastered all the material. The music was written and recorded over the course of two weeks in early December 2009 in the converted basement of Rancho D''Muerta (the US home of Tormentia and Ana D''Muerta and their extended family). Photo shoots for the project were happening in the evenings during the same time. Autumn photographed Jessica and Demi with Tormentias camera equipment. On 12/3/2009 at approximately 11:00pm during a photo shoot with just Autumn and Demi events occurred that caused them to stop taking pictures, download what they had and return Tormentias camera equipment to Rancho D''Muerta. In the pictures were images that couldn''t be explained.

The blend of styles is a bit different. Things can go from hip hop beats to punk and back. Others stay with a strict shred guitar/metal edge and some are straight rock. Three songs are instrumental shred guitar pieces with lots of changes in tempo and feel.
