Venerable Lama Tsultrim was born in Nepal. At the age of 11 he joined Samdrub Dhargay Choling Monastery in Sonada, India. After completing studies according to the monastery''s curriculum, and after receiving all the instructions and empowerments in the Shangpa Kagyu tradition from the late His Eminence Khyabje Kalu Rinpoche, Lama Tsultrim joined Kunsang Dechen Osel Ling Retreat Centre, Sonada, to enter a Three Year Retreat under the guidance of H.E. Kalu RInpoche and Very Venerable Lama Lorang Rinpoche.
After successfully completing the retreat in 1991 Lama Tsultrim took up responsibilities in various activities including the Vajra Master of both Samdrup Dhargay Choling and Drodon Kunchab Chodey monasteries. Lama Tsultrim is well-versed in the study, contemplation and meditation of the Shangpa Kagyu tradition. In 2001 he was invited to Kagyu Kunkhyab Chuling in Vancouver, B.C., Canada to share his knowledge and experience with students and in 2005 was appointed by H.E. Kalu Rinpoche to the position of Senior Spiritual Teacher.
Included in the CD is an 8 Page Insert with English translations of all 5 tracks as well as a photo of many of the Monks in retreat at KDOL, Sonada, India.
''My Heartfelt Wish For You'' is Venerable Lama Tsultrim''s debut CD. It is Lama''s sincere hope that this CD will bring happiness and benefit to all who listen to these prayers and chants.
