Your purchase of Heart’s Cry supports world missions by helping to cover expenses for my recent trip to India, providing future support for Mike to minister in Ukraine and Russia, and undergirding the efforts of Life Centre Ministries to build churches and train local pastors. I love how God brings so many unrelated people together to further His plans! Here’s the story, of a lovely lady…..

Many years ago, I met Deanna Agnew at a church I attended in Denver, Colorado. We quickly became friends and share many special memories together. Deanna was raised on the mission field and traveled with her father, Jack Lockwood, as a child. After having served with her family in South Africa for a number of years, God made her the director of Life Centre Ministries based in Littleton, Colorado upon her father’s retirement.

Deanna has always teased me about joining her on the mission on field. In October 2007, I accompanied her on a trip to Poland where her father established a church on Eliezer Urbach''s (founder of Congregation Roeh Israel in Denver, Colorado) family property. From that church, there is an outreach ministry to the Jewish population in Lutsk, Ukraine. We joined the church''s team in ministering to the Jewish community by providing food, prayer, and music to the elderly and in the synagogue. Two people accepted Jesus as their Savior on that trip.

Upon our return from Poland, Deanna asked me to come to India with her to teach on worship. I always told her I would go with her on missions trips if God dropped a large sack of money on my doorstep. That’s our joke. It took an act of faith to go on the first trip but God was faithful and provided the funds. For this trip to India, God said, I gave you songs. Make a CD to raise funds. I assumed that the project was going to be finished before I went. That was my plan, anyway! But God saw fit to stretch my faith a little further. The project was in full swing and no where close to being finished when I left for India. I took out a small loan in faith to pay for the trip. My reward? Fourteen people gave their lives to Lord including our Muslim driver!

Part two of this story is about Mike. Mike and I met online where we had many discussions about Messianic Judaism. This teaching led me and my family to begin attending Congregation Roeh Israel in 1994. Mike, has always had a vision to minister to the Jewish community in Ukraine and eventually, to move into Siberia. When he agreed to provide all of the background music for the album, I told him that I wanted part of the proceeds from this project to be set aside for him to pursue God’s missionary calling on his life.

One CD project, three people from different parts of the world, and one great, big God working to bring people into an intimate relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus.
