Lynda Lynn has just produced a new CD titled, Reach Out For Him featuring sixteen Branson artists, internationally known Barbara Fairchild and The Blackwood Singers.
These are original, annointed songs that the Lord has given her. Jesus is her Executive Producer and she wants only to honor Him with this CD. She performs three of her songs that are on the CD. I See Jesus In Your Eyes is a tribute to her husband Bud, A Soldier''s Prayer is dedicated to her son Rory who was a Marine and a Mother''s Prayer to her son Jeremy who is a police Lieutenant wounded in the line of duty.
Lynda is an award winning songwriter and poet that began writing music in 1994. Her song Ozark Mountain Christmas was written on a napkin at Opryland in Nashville. It has received national acclaim every Holiday Season since 1994. This song ignited the fire in her songwriting spirit and has led to multiple albums featuring various artists throughout the United States. Lynda was named Branson Gospel Music Association''s Songwriter of the Year and Runner Up Female vocalist, Country Gospel Music Associations'' Female Entertainer of the Year, Songwriter of the Year five times, The United States Central Division Medial Personality nine times, and the Internaltional Media Personality three times. She received the nashville Goldn Award for her song, Ozark Mountain Christmas. Lynda has received her thirteenth ASCAP award from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.
On Angel''s Wings Publishing Company was founded by Lynda and her husband Bud. They publish and produce Ozark Trails Magazine a publication that caters to bus groups that tour the area with a Christian flavor. God inspired Lynda to start building small Chapels and the first of these Chapels is called Chapel Woods of the Ozarks. Others will be built as God leads and her vision is for their to be one in each county in Missouri and then to start out into other states.
Lynda''s songs have been featured worldwide on the Sky Angel Network, numerous radio and television broadcasts such as God Answers Prayer, Texas Country Gospel, How to Beat the Odds, Unfolding Majesty and Faces of Abortion. These program feature her as an author also. She co-authored a book with her son, Rory, titled The Turning Point, ATeenager''s Rebellion. The book focuses on trusting God to bring families with troubled teens through rebellious times allowing family restoration. Lynda co-hosts Quest for Character with Mike Dunn on KJSL Christian Radio from St Louis, Missouri. Many of her songs are featured on this program. She will be appearing on Babbie''s House with Babbie Mason, nationally know gospel recording artist, on April 7th.
Lynda received her Doctorate in Sacred Music in 2006. On December 28th 2009, Bud and Lynda were ordained as Ministers of God at The Sanctuary of Hope in Branson, Missouri.
