Milwaukee, WI. - Eight months in the making Micah Olsan’s 2010 CD
“Off Beat Clappers and Hip Toe Tappers” was relentlessly rehearsed in Milwaukee, WI. and recorded in Madison at The Madison Media Institute and Red Maple Studios.
The CD was produced and mixed by Madison Acoustic Wizard Bob Westfall.
These are not just songs; they are stories that take you on a musical journey through the
styles of Contemporary Folk, Jazz, Funk, and Pop.
Micah’s influences span from Paul Simon to Radiohead. His palette has a broad brush and a plethora of colors. There are some exquisite arrangements that Olsan, his band, and producer have wrapped into a diverse mix of grooves and moods.
Some tracks will make you sit down and listen while the next may have you back on your feet, toes tapping.
