"For this album I wanted to create something that was like a Tim Burton film, I aimed to create a world in which to immerse yourself in. A loose concept album built upon storytelling, nature, conspiracy, lies and home truths".
Andrew is an artist that spends the time analyzing, digesting and processing lifes stimuli into something musical. Enjoying a wide range of music and not being scared to explore these genres he is hard to pigeonhole but creates a sound that is his own. Completely at the helm of his own ship he writes, records, and produces his own recordings armed with a laptop and various bits of kit that make noises.

Andrew takes his influences from a wide variety of music. Live he takes on the role of the troubadour singer songwriter, alone with the songs bear and delivered how they would have been written. On record he lets the creative juices run free a little more. Not to be scared to restrict himself sonically just because the songs in their live guise take on a more acoustic nature.
"I love acoustic music and this is how I write most of my songs. First and foremost I love the craft of song writing and delivering a message. Nothing displays that more than one man and a guitar." On record I prefer to layer the songs a little more, to paint the picture in my head
Imagination, secret confessions, paranoia and social comment epitomize Andrew''s song writing, and its these qualities that have enabled him to always get people on a emotional level.
"The messages i get are always really personal. I remember someone writing to me to express how i gave them a connecting moment and they felt like i was singing just for them alone. I loved that".
With some impressive achievements so far including a list of great support shows, radio play and receptive press reviews. Andrew is also a very prolific writer often writing quicker than he can release. Nature plays a huge part in the song writing, the beauty of whats already around you.
"I think people often have a disregard for their environment and I dont mean that in a hug a tree type way but the beauty in whats already been carved. Have a look around, slow down, and take it in. The seasons will never stop and they are beautiful. Im afraid reading about Jordan and Peter will not be interesting soon... shock horror!"
With a full length, a mini album and two 5 track Ep''s out in two years Andrew has been holding back material in order to try and promote whats already been written.
"I could do an EP a week if i had the time!"
The new album has a commercial sound but with a creepy undertone of paranoia, an old circus or a conspiracy theory. With a wide range of styles from pop, americana, rock, and singer/songwriter influences its shaping up to be something quite fresh and immersing.
"I do have a pennant for the dark side of things. I dont see it as a bad thing as it acts like exorcism for me. I use music to channel my frustration, fear and panic into a contained place. Id like to think that people will take something from the music. The best music to me has always shown that you are not alone in your thinking, it speaks to you and acts as medicine."
