I chose to call this album "Wink Over This Way" for a few reasons. I think it sums up the content of the CD pretty well. I''m a teenager, so a lot of the songs are, frankly, about wanting that special someone to notice me. However, I''d like to take it a little deeper and dedicate this album to love in general. There are so many kinds of love, and this CD hits on a bunch of them: playful love, fantasies of love, flirty love, a crush, heavenly love, a childhood love, the pain that comes with loving someone, nostalgic love, the love of freedom. Love is something that is so precious, and I thank God that we are able to experience it. I wish every person the happiness that comes with loving someone in whatever way it may be.
