At the age of 16, Jami was signed in Los Angeles by Abrams Artists Agency for Acting in Commercial & Theatrical. The same year she signed with OTG Talent Management - Kim Matuka, President.
At the same time, Jami’s band began picking up momentum and by summer they were performing at every major venue in Northeast , Ohio opening for national acts such as: The Jonas Brothers, Aly & AJ, Jewel , Rob Thomas, Fly Leaf, Marty Casey & The Lovehammers (Rockstar: INXS), Mozella (Warner Brothers Records), and Sierra Swan (Interscope Records).
Jami also began headlining major Cleveland venues such as Blossom Music Center, Tower City Amphitheatre, The House of Blues , The Agora Ballroom ,Tops Great American Rib Cook Off & Kidsfest (Sponsored by Live Nation), CMJ Rock Hall Music Fest, Gwen Stefani''s Post Concert Party, EJ Thomas Music Hall (University of Akron), Kent State University and The Hard Rock Café.
At the end of the summer, Jami’s band started performing nationally at The Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA., The Midwest Music Summit in Indianapolis,IN, The South Park Music Festival In South Park, Colorado. In Los Angeles, Jami''s band has performed @ The Roxy, Key Club, and The Troubadour.
The culmination of a very successful summer tour season ended with Jami being voted “Best Solo Artist” at Cleveland Music Awards held at The House of Blues.
