The summer of 2008, my family and I went with our church to Mexico to help build a home for a needy family. When we thought about what we could contribute toward a fundraiser for this building project, one that will cost about $35,000 my first thought was to put together a CD from which the proceeds would go toward the Mission work in Mexico.
That is how this CD project began… a simple fundraiser for one specific Mexico mission trip. As with many things in life, it went in a direction that I was not anticipating. Through the generosity of a friend, the connection with a professional producer just a few blocks from our home and the perfect timing of the Lord, this project grew into something larger than I could have anticipated.
A portion of the profit raised by Big Blue Sky will go towards the support of missions as well as a portion will go toward a special fund which will allow other songwriters / musicians to have the same opportunity that I have been given. I hope you enjoy the music and thanks for the support!
