dRED.i is veteran emcees Moorpheus Magnetik and Han Solo, who have been moving crowds up and down the west coast in various crews since the late 1980s.

Moorpheus (aka Merciful, aka Ice Cold Mode) comes from Seattle''s Central District.
In 1990, he was featured as "Unsigned Hype" in The Source magazine, and his single "East Union Street Hustlers" was 18 weeks number one on Seattle-area radio station KCMU (now known as KEXP 90.3 fm).
In the summer of 2005, the dRED.i single "Pairadice" was in regular rotation on KEXP 90.3 fm and several hip-hop specialty shows nationwide.
Moorpheus is also the 2003 WA. State Toughman Boxing Tournament champion (lightweight division).
Han Solo, a native of South Central L.A., is no stranger to life on the streets or life in the custody of the state. It was while he was on forced vacation that he began to turn his life around; sharpening his mind and lyrical skills against any and all who would dare challenge him to a battle.
After his release, he spent a brief time working with the Beat Reapas, appearing on Okbar Ras Mufasa''s album "Incent of Days". He joined dRED.i in 2000 and is currently working on a solo project, scheduled to be released sometime in 2006.
