Electric Walls was recorded by On the Tundra July 14 and 15 of 2009. The band and the songs are the creation of guitarist Mark Leahey, formerly of Detroit garage rock outfit, The Sights. The band is comprised of Mark Leahey, songwriter and lead guitarist; Casey Izdepski, Rhodes piano and guitar; Nic Gusset, guitar; David Kreihbel, Drums; and Jordan Snow, bass. The quality of the instrumentation does not show the frantic pace the album was recorded in. On the tundra draws you in with their rocking and keep you hooked with the melodies.
