Overwhelmed ...
Since the day God breathed His breath of life into me I have wanted to praise His name through song. Through the years He has opened incredible doors of ministry for me and I am humbled to walk through each one. To some the opportunities I’ve had may not seem very important but to me every opportunity, large and small, has been a cherished privilege. Simply stated, there is just nothing like lifting a song in the company of the Saints. Most recently, my song has been lifted in the quietness and the stillness of my soul as He and I have walked through difficult days and all the while He has tended to me with such gentleness ... it leaves me ... well, simply overwhelmed.
Overwhelmed that in the midst of my storm the song in my heart, the joy that makes me sing, would be called forth by God Himself....for you see, the difficult days where we have walked have been days of learning to surrender my will for His will and deepen my trust in His absolute sovereignty over my life. This is a season where I am learning to be a cancer survivor... a thriver....and in the midst of this season, I am learning that it is more important than ever to lift the song of worship unto Him. We really only have this moment, this "right now" moment ... and in my "now" I choose to worship Him as long as I have breath. (Psalm 146:2). He has been so good to me!
This debut CD is my offering to Him. My declaration that He gets it all... all of my heart, all of my life, all of my song, all of my joy....simply all. Come and worship with me at His feet and while we are there I pray that the Lord will pierce your heart with His presence. I pray that He will draw you to Himself and overwhelm You with His goodness; I pray that He will thrill you and stun you with His incredible love and mercy. It is all about Him and all for Him...for such a time as this.
