musical style of singer/songwriter Logan Lind--a combination of acoustic folk Americana,
southern rhythm and blues--laced with Scandinavian embellishment.
Born in southern Norway to a Norwegian father and an American mother, cultural influences
have had a hand in shaping Logan’s sound. From southern Norway his family moved to a
small railroad town in western Arkansas. In the same state that produced the late
great Johnny Cash, Logan started to show his musical potential.
“All it took was for my Norwegian grandmother to give me a guitar and a neighbor, who was a
former guitarist for Merle Haggard, to show me three cords. He told me to practice until my
fingers bled. ”
By his early teens Logan was writing songs and preforming in theaters and churches.
At 17, he recorded and released his first solo project entitled “Where I am today”.
“My song writing has always stemmed from a mixture of personal experience and a need
to be real. I’ve found that music has a power all its own when you know it’s coming from
someone’s heart. ”
From Norway, to the southern US, and now residing in the Rockies, Logan continues to fuse his
riddles and rhymes with messages of struggle, love, and hope. His latest release, an EP comprised
of 4 new rhythmic singles, show off his expanding stylistic range while staying true to his roots.
