About the book:

The Andrews family is relocating for Ted''s latest job promotion. A young, upwardly mobile couple, confirmed by their automobile, their clothing, their jewelry and all the other outside trappings of success ... all a direct result of Ted''s shall we say “over-achiever” tendencies.

Ted Andrews has driven all night long hoping to arrive before the movers. Saturday morning, at the break of dawn, the Andrews'' automobile is almost involved in an accident. Thank the Lord! It''s only a "near accident" on the interstate about 75 miles east of their destination.

Shaken, the family decides to get off the interstate, get some food, rest a little while and get over the initial fright they have encountered with the "near accident". The family takes the first exit they see. This detour puts them on a two-lane county road that leads to the tiny township of Paradise. It must be a really small town. It''s not even on the road map.

The Andrews'' arrive in Paradise and eat breakfast at a little café. As they are about to return to their trip, they discover they cannot get back on the interstate at all. The state emergency services have the interstate shut down in both directions.

Left to wander around in Paradise until the road reopens, the Andrews find there is something very unusual about this town. The town itself isn''t much bigger than its town square. As the family proceeds down the street ... a row of mostly antique shops ... each store holds something a little more familiar. One by one, the Andrews'' each discover treasures which remind them of their past. At first, they dismiss it as simply coincidence but as time goes by, they begin to see ... these really are their very own lost treasures.

The entire Andrews family begins their journey into a new and better world and they want to share (WITH YOU) what they learned: Paradise is what you imagine it to be!
