This band is made up of some of Los Angeles and New York''s most talented and cutting edge improvisors. Steph Richards brings her legendary Trumpet chops to the fore, slicing and dicing each tune. Brian Walsh is a masterful and incredibly dextrous Bass Clarinetist, and lays down a fat Barry Sax line on his tune Laughing Man. Ian Carroll can barely be restrained, on trombone he brings his huge sound and boisterous energy. Dave Tranchina plays his bays in unconventional ways, but always find a solid groove with the drums. Qasim Naqvi (Drums) is the glue that ties it together, and his musical sense is par none. Together the group moves like a giant squid, darting about, creating beautiful and ever dynamic textures all at once.
