Mixing the heartfelt sincerity of a singer/songwriter with the visionary brashness of 60s soul, Kory Nagler is a young, up-and-coming artist lending a much needed breath of fresh air onto today’s music scene. Born and raised outside of Seattle, WA, Kory Nagler began playing guitar and piano at age 9. Kory began composing his own material at the tender age of 11, Picked up Harmonica and Banjo, and was recording home demos and performing in local coffee houses by age 12.
Following high school, he ventured out to Chicago to front a band, The Argus, along with his cousin. Proving to be a seminal underground hit, The Argus played to packed clubs throughout Chicago and recorded 3 EP’s. After a two year run, the call of the Pacific Northwest lead him back home. While earning a technical degree in Audio Engineering at the University of Washington, Kory began writing, playing, and recording with the band Westerly (currently signed to Are You Alive Records), earning him rave write-ups in the Seattle PI, Sound Magazine, and other Northwest publications, as well as being featured in both Spin and Billboard magazines. Headlining clubs regularly from Seattle to Portland, he has shared the stage with the likes of Brandi Carlile, Pat Monahan of Train, and Jackie Greene.
Featuring 15 original songs, "All The Good Boys" is a diverse and energetic debut album. Original, melodic songwriting is executed consistently with heartfelt and honest lyrics, each song showcasing genre-bending instrumentation. A fusion of Rock, Soul, Country, Folk, Blues and Gospel, this album delivers a new vision of what music can be. Timeless and without defined borders, "All The Good Boys" is a journey worth taking.
