Music has always been a big part of my life. Since I was a little girl, raised in Brazil, I loved to express myself by singing and writing songs. Life has taught me many lessons that inspired me to write songs. My biggest challenge was writing songs in English rather than my first language, Portuguese. God made it all possible with the words and melody flowing through me. I just felt in my heart what I should say, following God’s guidance and His Divine substance being expressed.
Wonderful musicians joined me in this 2-year project to make my dream come true. Every song represents a different time in my life, and it is truly an expression of my heart, how I feel, and what I believe. Every song has a different genre, so I guarantee that you won''t be bored. Since I work with children and teenagers, at first I aimed my music to a younger audience. To my surprise, I found that adults and parents were enjoying, singing, and dancing to the sound of my music, which brought me great joy. So, new melodies and words came to my mind, and “In My Heart” became a CD with spiritual and inspirational songs for all ages.
