Details:
Pamela plays more piano here than in many of her past works, and flirts with different styles and instrumentation; using acoustic bass on a couple of tracks, Greek bouzouki on a french song, and harmonica and accordion from the incomparable Frank Maher. The title track is the traditional ballad "Seven Years" and here it receives a stellar arrangement and performance.

The recording comes seven years after "On a Wing and a Prayer" and encompasses the journey. Lyrics are thoughtful and mature, with songs about alzheimer''s (Olivia), resettlement (Out West), social injustice (Will you Drive), and the lovely yearning ballad "Stealer of Hearts".

Rock N'' Reel - UK
"She shines like a beacon in the darkness - star quality abounds."

Washington Post - USA
"Pamela Morgan has a voice both powerful and shimmering, as mystical as her name"
