A homeshooling mother of 4, in the midst of adopting her 5th child, Denise''s music flows from her life experiences. Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, as well as caring for her children diagnosed with Celiac Disease, Denise''s heart is to reach out to encourage others with the incredible comfort she has received. She and her husband, Andy Dovel, have a ministry to churches of music and comedy, with a vision to bring healing and unity to the church today.
Denise has been writing music since she became a Christian 17 years ago, and has served as keyboardist and vocalist for various churches. Following 9/11, Denise was encouraged to record a song she had written for that tragic day. Her song, "Comfort to the Weary" received airplay on different radio stations across the country, which then precipitated a concert ministry in 2002.
Since that time, Denise has recorded two CDs. First, in the Fall of 2002, "Just Fine" was produced locally in PA, then in 2005, "Praying For You", which was recorded in Nashville, TN, by Shay Watson and Joe Mazza.
You cannot listen long to Denise''s music without feeling unconditionally loved by God - that is her heart - that all who listen will know how treasured they are by the Father. Come, just as you are, and listen to songs that convey a walk with God through various trials, in the daily grind we all live in, and receive God''s message of love and comfot to you.
