Doom Crew, a 3 man band/group made up of Guitarist/beat maker-S Man and Rappers-MC Marc & https://www.tradebit.comty, began in early October of 2004. They set out wanting to make different music from what they heard everyday. The first song was a Rap/Rock mixture called, "The Brand New" from their first album “Shadow“. https://www.tradebit.comty would make the drum tracks and S Man & original member Mattson would play guitar over them. Then MC Marc, https://www.tradebit.comty & original member DSlicK would Rap. The entire album became a Rap/Rock mixture with 16 tracks finished in March of 2005.
Then in May of 2005, they released a 5 song EP called, "Doomology". The big difference in this album was that it was completely produced by S Man and there was only one song with guitar. There we’re no features on the EP except for a verse by DSlicK.
Doom Crew helped produce and featured on their friend NeXXGeN’s 3rd album, “Wrote Dis On Da Bus” in late September 2005. S Man produced 5 of their beats, MC Marc featured on 6 songs and https://www.tradebit.comty featured on 9. This pairing turned into it’s own group, called “Get’Em GoonZ“. They made a mixtape called, “Four Plus 3 Equals GoonZ”. An official album, the “Combo-Lation” is due out in the fall of 2006.
During this time, Doom Crew was working on their 3rd album, “The New Epic”. That album was finished in late March 2006. With 21 songs, all produced by S Man and featuring NeXXGeN, Juan Train & Marvin Brown. Also with DSlicK on 3 songs, The New Epic is, “The most epic, amped up CD comin’ outta the Bay! Burnin’ speakers, skippin’ decks and blowin’ sub-woofers! Watch out!”
Doom Crew produces all their own music and writes all their own lyrics. All 3 members collaborate together to come up with the songs that they release. It’s definitely a group effort. Whenever they work with other artists, they also put their minds together with those artists to make the most original music they can. As they’ve been making more and more music, they’ve decided to start their own label, which they call “DOOM ENTERTAINMENT”. As of right now there are no artists signed to the label, seeing as they are still in the early stages of their music careers. Be on the lookout for Doom Crew, coming soon to a sound system near you!
