Dangerous Darryl first attained prominence in 1988 when he won the Long Beach Blues Festival Talent Search. A multi-instrumentalist, he plays guitar, harmonica, Dobro and lap steel. He has played with dozens of Blues artists including; Angela Strehli, Shakey Jake Harris, Harmonica Fats, Deacon Jones, Chris "Hammer" Smith, L.A. Jones and the legendary Hollywood Fats. He continues to be in demand as a session player for artists who want to incorporate an authentic Blues sound in their material.
Recently, Darryl has played with Blue Thumb/Universal recording artist, Mighty Mo Rodgers, touring extensively in the U.S., Canada and Europe. Darryl plays on Mighty Mo''s debut CD, "Blues Is My Wailin'' Wall".
