For the past 12 years the Lord has been moving me in the direction of a Ministry through music. After completing my degree in Audio Production in 1997, I believed I’d be working in a studio or running live sound for some band. Soon after graduation I found myself running the sound for a Worship team and one day the Lord spoke to me and told me He wanted me in a music ministry.
I had been in a country/rock band for ten years, playing in the bars before going to college and the Worship music that I was now involved with, seemed foreign to me, so I really did not understand how the Lord could use me.
Well, I’ve been a Worship leader for about 4 years now and when I started to put this album together I wanted a sound that new Christians would find more familiar sounding than your typical Christian album. My prayer is that someone’s heart might be touched and will find a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; if this album helps one person find their way to the Lord then I will consider it a success.
