Details:
A Massachusetts native residing in North Carolina, Dan Bovine showcases his strumming and satire into easy going folk music, paying tribute to his song writing influences of M. Ward, Chris Hillman, and Loudon Wainwright III.
Playing bass and adding backing vocals to numerous musical projects growing up, Bovine has momentarily stepped out on his own to pursue his first solo album “Walkin’ Blues.” “Walkin’ Blues” features Bovine’s laid back musicianship with the vocal styles of 60’s pop icons, The Association and The Millennium.
Recorded in the chambers of his walk-in closet, "Walkin Blues" features Bovine’s feelings and opinions on all aspects ranging from loss, hope, pride, exploration, and every day annoyances.
“Walkin Blues” features such Bovine favorites as “Out the Door” and “Mister Collins,” as well as a version of long time friend and collaborator Chip Means'' “Half Way Ballad.”
