This is my first CD, but have already sold 100 copies within 2 weeks. My main influences for writing are artists Damien Rice, Snow Patrol, Andrew Bird, Coldplay, Ben Kweller, and jack johnson.
I couldnt do all of this myself so I had a good friend named Tim Nevills play the djembe on most of the songs. I have been playing music with him for a long time. We were both part of a band called radiocab that played at many events downtown portland, and at the waterfront. Another band member zack scholl also has a cd on cdbaby called "shoreline amity". It is acoustic music by him and his brother creating the name hibiscus.
The majority of the songs on here are acoustic, with one full band arrangement song. People that have bought my cd have said it has a good variety of styles on it. So it flows well, and its not repetetive.
