Ippocratis Bournellis, or DJ Grego as he''s better known, is 49 yrs old and
comes from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
A legendary DJ & music producer, he''s been spinning music and moving people
with sound experiences since the 70''s. All this time he''s been active at the world''s
dance scene, and a pioneer at the radio mix show with a lot of professional respect.
His first record, "Maestro Mecanico" was released in 1977 which was also the year
his was acclaimed master DJ in Brazil.
His work counts over 200 remixes, signed by major labels all over the world.
Many different grooves such as Soul, Disco and Funk bounce with Brazilian rhythm school
to produce particularly interesting and unique sounds. Many of these 12" records and CD''s
are rare and limited DJ exclusive editions.Â
DJ Grego has produced remixes for many acclaimed musicians: Mariah Carey, Jorge Benjor,
 Ricky Martin, Earth Wind & Fire, Gilberto Gil, Wicleff Jean, Christian Castro, Ivan Lins, Fat Boy Slim, Fey,

"Ultimate Latin Grooves", is his first worldwide independent project with Fusion, Spiritual, World, Afro, Latin, Brazilian and Tribal Batukadas influences.
Each single track has been selected for non-stop groove.
The project was programmed and recorded in Miami, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, New York and Bahia.
In this CD, his Greek roots come into play as well as ideas he gained during his visits to Mediterranean
clubs & bars of the Aegean islands in the summer.

Years in the 70''s when I started working as a DJ, I was introduced to Ravi
Shankar’s Sitar sounds. The fusion influences come from Alan Parsons, Carole King,
Undisputed True, Norman Whitefield. The final part House & keys solo trip
were inspired by Emerson, Lake and Palmer & Rick Wakeman’s style,
progressive rock lessons... Welcome to the eletronic sounds with old school!!!
My partner, the master keys Jason Klein from Miami Music Authority,
we programmed this track using, MPC''s, 909, June, DX-7, Vintage Synths.
2-Beatutini Love Mix. Emmanuel Bournellis is my father, “a professor of
Theology”. He was a dedicated Orthodox Christian that woke me up every
Sunday morning at 7 o''clock to go to church. Gregorian Byzantine lyrics
still stay vividly in my mind. The praying message of beauty, faith and love
to the world from Carol Wojtila "Pope John Paul II" inspired my DJ & religious
sense to make this groove. This track is dedicated in memory ofthem...

spiritual afro capoeira song, Paranaue is singed from Mulheres Negras, very respected female vocal afrobrazilian roots and performed as it was singed hundred
years ago when the ships with the slaves arrived from Africa to Brazil. In
Capoeira is like anthem. Brazilian people love Soccer, House music,Capoeira, Pandeiro, Berimbao... all those influences were programmed with the
best Brazilian DJ & Producer, Sylvio Muller, Pedro Franceschini master keys,
Berimbao by Mestre Gastao, vocals by Coral das Mulheres Negras.
5-Samba in this House, DJ Grego’s white label MWP was released only in vinyl
especially for the Winter Music Conference, Miami Beach, FL, 1998.

The wizard Lincoln Olivetti burnt all keys, Wurtzweiel, Virus bass oscillators with my favorite drum line programming MPC thanks Mr. Roger Linn, Bahia Timbaladas sounds grooving!

airport, Oe, Oe, Papa! Added with the Pope’s speech "Thanks to the Lord",
has inspired me to produce this spiritual tribal afro house tribute. Jason

12-Minute of Silence/Pater Nostro, everybody needs a minute of silence,
to relieve his soul, his ears. Produced with “respect to our teachers,
lovers”, as the Pope says... and with this respect for his words, we rock this R&B.
