Delaney is a rock band currently based out of Medford, OR - but it''s roots stretch across the country. Formed by bassist/vocalist Bobby Seus, the band''s three songwriters hadn''t actually played together until the day of their first show.
Guitar player/vocalist Lee Barbara and Bobby played in many jazz groups while attending high school in Medford. Then in 2002, Bobby left for college at Notre Dame in Indiana, where he met keyboard player Mike Maimone in a popular reggae/rock band. That band, Bajawalla, had some success in 2005 as a regional touring band based out of Chicago, before Bobby and Mike decided to join up with Lee back on the West Coast.
Delaney recently finished recording their first EP, and travelled back to Indiana to release it, opening for Phantom Planet at St. Mary''s College.
Currently Delaney is focused on playing around Oregon for the summer, while recording a follow-up EP and booking their fall tour.
