My name is Milton L. Delgado. I live in a small town in Pennsylvania called: Moscow, with my wonderful wife, Wanda and our Black Lab Puppy: "Smoky Bear". I always like to point out that, although I''m living in the Country now, I was born and raised in "Da Bronx". New York City will always be in my blood! Any of you fellow Bronxites or Bronxetts reading this out there are obligated to buy my CD just because! I''d love to hear from you just to chat about the "Good Ol'' Days" and the 50s-n-60s era. I have been singing and performing and in and out of many bands and Doowop Groups for most of my life. Although I have never made: "The Big Time" as they say, I have no complaints! I have been richly Blessed with Excellent Health and the opportunity to continue doing what I love to do in my latter years, namely: "Write, Perform, Entertain, and Record Music!" For the past 10 years (and still going strong) I''ve had the good fortune of doing a show called: "Salute To The Crooners" where I perform all the great Standard Songs popularized by such renowned artists as: "Tony Bennett", "Dean Martin", "Bobby Darin", "Johnny Mathis", "Frank Sinatra" and others...keeping those fabulous standards and artists alive!
This three song CD is a must for all you 50''s & 60s Rock-n-Roll Doowop Fans and Collectors. Two of the songs were originally recorded on Carlton Records in 1959 by "The Paramounts" of which I was the Lead Singer. The Song entitled: "I Love You My Dear" is a "Tearjerker Original" which my wonderful friend and business associate Dick Plotkin and I wrote for a movie which unfortunately never got released. It will surely make you cry and definately make an impact on your life! It''s a message "The World Must Listen to and apply!" "I Love You My Dear" is destined to reach The Top 10 list on The Billboard Charts. It''s a Beautiful and Touching Song about "Love and Regret"; pay close attention to the lyrics. The story is very sad. My prayer is that you will never have to experience what the man in this song will be spending the rest of his life regreting. It will "Enlighten & Inspire" you to take certain action before it''s too late! Let me know your thoughts and feelings about: "I love You My Dear" and what its message has meant to you.
