As with David''s prior CD, Everything That Has a Beginning, Mark Pistel (formerly of Consolidated and Meat Beat Manifesto) produced and mixed most of the tracks.

California artist David DeMordaunt releases his new album “Blackbird’s Lullaby” with its sweet and intimate lyrics. As a Bay Area indie artist he has a lot of competition but if this album is any indication of his live performances, I’m sure the scene heralds him as one of their knights. The guitars sway with an indie folk swagger but there’s a clear progressive rock vibe with the guitar tone which gives the album an intriguing mixture of sound. Impressive to say the least.
