New to the local rock scene in Austin Texas, Long Time Comin takes the roots of the blues and streches them in all directions. As a three piece band they echo the music of past "power" rock trios like ZZ Top and Jimi Hendrix but with a new sound that features heavy guitar and groove, blues rhythms. The first single of the self-titled debut album is "Fell to Earth", it''s the most "pop" of the bunch and stands out as the lead track of the album. From there it''s the raunchy sped up blues of "Mojo Baux" and "Crystallized" to the tranquil musing sounds of songs like "To us Alone" and "Quittin Addictions". The album balances between rock and blues...from fast to slow, and all the songs seem to counterbalance each other.
