Details:
There could not be a more appropriate title for Larry Bradford''s first album than Simple Man. While it is the name of one of his songs, it describes Larry''s philosophy on making music as well. He''s drawn to simple melodies, the harmony created with the blending of voices, and straightforward lyrics inspired by his faith and everyday life.

The common thread running through Simple Man is Larry''s attention to the details and memories of his life. Larry sings of his relationship with his wife, Cindy in "Choice I Made" and recalls his grandparent''s hometown in the gentle "Crooked Oak". Musically, the album includes everything from delicate, rolling ballads like the album closing "Moonlight" to more uptempo tunes like "Perfect Plan" and a rousing arrangement of "Talk About Suffering". Producer, Brent Rader added some top musicians from Nashville including violin/mandolin/dolbro player Wanda Vick.

The majority of the songs on the album speak of Larry''s faith as in his signature song "Simple Man". "The scripture Simple Man came from speaks about God using the simple things to confound the wise and mighty"; Larry says. He''ll take things that are nothing and use them to overcome things that are great. It''s very encouraging to me. People say today, What can I do? They think they can''t make a difference. We can''t, but the one, true living God can." Song lyrics and melodies remind Larry of the goodness and faithfulness of God in his everyday experiences. In the end, Larry hopes people who hear Simple Man or see him perform will hear a lyric or recall a memory that stays with them after the music fades. "I''m just playing simple tunes. I don''t want it to be too complicated, and I''m not trying to dazzle anyone with chords and guitar work. I just want them to listen to the words. I hope it will be something they''ll remember."
