Craig has been writing music since he bought an upright piano for himself 15 years ago! "What I''ve learned," Craig says, "Is that pianos should not be wheeled through the grass and stored in the basement!" which describes EXACTLY the scenario of how Craig self-taught himself to play the piano.
Craig''s musical influences are varied. From Barry Manilow to the Pet Shop Boys, Craig listens for the instant hook of a song. "I think of my musical tastes as a menagerie between the classical sounds of Andy Williams and the fresh, electronic sound of the Pet Shop Boys . . . I love them all!"
Craig is most excited about the recent promotion his current CD has received. He will be performing on WCMH NBC4''s morning news show on Sunday, September 12. His song "The Bottom Line" can be heard every Sunday morning on 610 WTVN as the theme music for Bill Conley''s radio call-in show from 9:00am - 12:00pm.
Craig has been a 4th grade teacher at New Albany Elementary School in Columbus, OH for the past 6 years. A graduate of The Ohio State University, Craig previously has been in a national band where he played percussion and sang vocals. The group toured through the United States.
